Ongoing Projects
Shelter Home at Gandhi Hospital
Gandhi Hospital has been at the forefront of providing affordable healthcare to patients from all over Telangana.
While the patient is suffering and the treatment is causing psychological distress, the patient attendants face a significant challenge in finding affordable housing and food during the treatment.
Seva Bharathi, in collaboration with Shivananda Ashramam, has been running a shelter home for patient attendants, providing three meals a day, a place to stay, and a secure locker.
These services are available for only Rs. 10/- per day.
No. of Beneficiaries / Year: 82,750
Helpdesks at Government Hospitals
In view of the current shortage of resources in government hospitals, obtaining proper guidance in a government hospital can be difficult and time-consuming.
Seva Bharathi maintains these Help Desks, which assist regular visitors with their questions and provide appropriate advice.
The volunteers greet patients and guide them through the helpdesks. We currently have help desks in the operating rooms, radiology, gynecology, and orthopedic wings. In addition to the Gandhi hospital, our OP help desks are active at Nampally and Vanastalipuram locality hospitals.
Mobile Ambulance (Sanjeevani)
With the city limits expanding daily, slums are growing, and a lack of healthcare education / awareness continues to be a challenge, costing lives abruptly.
Sanjeevani, a mobile healthcare service, tries to address mobility, accessibility, and availability issues for the needy in slum areas. The mobile ambulance, along with the doctors, visits slum areas and low-income areas to provide basic health checkups.
Complex/advanced cases are referred to hospitals for review.
Blood Donation Drives
Seva Bharathi works in this area by organizing blood donation drives across the state in collaboration with other non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that help poor patients with thalassemia and cancer.
Knowing the demand and having a strong ground presence, as well as the ability to work with youth organizations, Seva Bharathi holds blood donation camps on a regular basis. This way, we not only collect blood for various needs, but we also raise awareness among the public about the importance of blood donation.
Access to healthcare opens doors to a brighter & healthier future for every family. Your support can help build a foundation of health and well-being, empowering each family to live a STRONGER life.
